mno is a joint venture between Jan Melis and Ben Oostrum. This collaboration came into existence after a joint exhibition at gallery Ron Mandos in september 1998. Jan Melis is an industrial designer; Ben Oostrum is a sculptural artist. Mno aims to design usable objects. Up till now this has lead to several designs for example furniture, lamps, bowls and candleholders etc. for various manufacturers. In the future mno will also focus on interiordesign under assignment.
