EZCT Architecture & Design Research, Philippe Morel (1973), Felix Agid (1979) and Jelle Feringa (1978), is a collaborative practice created in 2000 and based in Paris . While dealing in its research with the deep changes occurring in contemporary sciences, the office does not make use of ready-to-use technologies. When it uses contemporary techniques or scientific/industrial paradigms (e.g. Optimization, GA, Distributed Computing, etc.), the office is first interested in a more accurate understanding of their theoretical significations and their industrial and historical consequences. At the same time, architecture is considered as an autonomous discipline which leads to “specific” designs.
